I like this option because it copies just about all of the information I need, while also using up fewer resources. Evernote creates a simpler, or what I call Evernote friendly, version of the post to clip. If you are copying a long article with lots of media, the clipping process can take a few minutes, and the clip will be a pretty large file. The web clipper draws a green box around the content it will copy and clip for you. This option copies the entire article (the content) into Evernote. Now, I’ve got a few choices for how I want to clip the article to Evernote. Once I do this, the Evernote Web Clipper window opens. Second, when I find a great article on the internet, I open the Web Clipper by clicking on the Evernote Elephant Logo up on my Chrome tool bar.
